Following the murder of Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Embassy in Istanbul, Jeff Bezos donated a Super Bowl commercial placement to The Washington Post to share a message about the importance of press freedom and the sacrifices reporters make every day to uncover the story.

We had 4 days to put together the spot and ship it to the NFL for review the Friday before the Super Bowl. I spent all waking moments in the edit room: helping with last minute script revisions, searching for stock footage, and researching fallen journalists. I worked on digital ads and cut-downs following the game.
